Behind the scenes

Writer's picture: Jane ByrneJane Byrne

Here is the behind the scenes of my 'Portrait of a Worker' story. I've included my lightroom catalog, any technical details, before and after comparisons and my process.

When we were first given this assignment, I knew I wanted to include someone my own age. For many of us working part time at the moment, our weekend jobs might be the only social interaction we get. With only essential businesses currently open, I thought Conor and his Woodies job would be perfect for this brief.

Camera used: For this assignment I used a Canon 700D with two lenses: a tamron 18-200 and a Canon EF lens 500mm 1:1.8stm. However for all the pictures used in the assignment I used the tamron lense. My pixel resolution was 5184 x 3456.

Here is an example of my metadata of the photo of MCU of Conor beside the paint using the Jeffrey Friedl's image metadata tool.
